Full-time CNY Fertility is seeking applicants for the position of a Patient Accounting Representative to handle calls and patient messages related to Financial and Billing questions.
Calls must be answered in a timely manner with the highest level of patient care, including compassion, empathy and understanding.
As such, it is imperative that all calls and inquiries are handled in a professional and constructive manner.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in multitasking, patient service and problem solving.
This role with require the representative to act as a liaison between insurance companies and our patients.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Collect payments from patients Monitor monthly payment plans Triage questions or issues related to appropriate teams (Clinical, Financial or Billing) Assist patients with terms and conditions for financial contracts Negotiate payments for any overdue balances Provide payment plan options for patients Explain insurance benefit questions to patients
Qualifications:
Experience in medical billing and collections in a clinical setting Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Understanding of medical and insurance terminology Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Prioritized time management and organizational skills Ability to provide support and kindness toward patients EMR experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Hours:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
